Biography: Hello! My name Delia Hernandez I was born in Durango, Mexico but have lived in the DFW area for the majority of my life. I am married and have 2 boys. I love spending my time watching my boys play the sports they love. I have had the pleasure of working at Natha Howell Elementary for 6 years. I have taught grades 2nd through 4th. Teaching reading is my passion! I am currently working on obtaining a master’s degree in curriculum and instruction with a reading specialist certificate. My passion for teaching reading keeps me eager to learn the newest literacy trends to add to my student’s repertoire of reading strategies.
