ROAR Success Criteria: My goal is for my students to feel happy and accomplished in a safe, nurturing environment. I want them to feel empowered and in control of their own education. I want them to know that making mistakes is just part of the learning process and that they will only fail if they quit trying. I want them to understand that they are worthy individuals that could achieve their dreams if they work hard towards their goals.
 
Biography: I was born and raised in Puerto Rico, the Pearl of the Caribbean. I have been a teacher for 30 years (and counting). I have been blessed with a wonderful daughter and son-in-law, an amazing granddaughter, and a great son. I have wonderful friends and family. I love to travel, watch documentaries, movies, and comedy series, crafting, singing, dancing, and reading. I love eating Puerto Rican, Hispanic, Mediterranean, and Italian food. I LOVE my students and co-workers, and working in our wonderful school.

Roar Success Criteria: An attitude for success is most important. Students come to my classroom knowing that high expectations and a mindset for growth are expected. I want my students to have the confidence to know they can achieve their goals. 
 
Biography: I am a true Texan but I was born into an Air Force family and was fortunate to live in many wonderful places. I graduated from Texas State University, best known as Southwest Texas! I always knew I wanted to be a teacher at a very young age. I am so blessed to have been able to follow my dream.  It is an honor to be a teacher and be able to nurture, teach and shape young lives.  I want each of my students to "shoot for the moon, even if they miss, they will land among the stars."
