ROAR Success Criteria: My goal is to find books for every student that comes through the library. I work on getting to know each student so I can learn about their interests and locate books for them all. It matters to me that every student finds what they like to read or learn about. Reading is a powerful tool, and I would love for each student I meet to develop a love of reading and become a lifelong learner. My ultimate goal is to provide all my students with the resources necessary for them to be successful in their educational journey.

Biography:I am a proud product of FWISD, as are both my daughters. I love that I get to be an example to my students of how anyone can be anything they set their mind to. I hope to inspire my students to treasure their education and make it a mission to complete college. "Si Se Puede!"

I have taught both 3^rd and 4^th grades, and even though I miss that part of education, I love working with all grade levels as a library media specialist(teacher librarian). This is my 15th year in education. Each year I look forward to seeing each student improve, grow and develop into readers. I get to see them go from being a non-reading PreK student to becoming an achieved reader.
